The past few months have presented new and unprecedented challenges as we monitor and respond to the COVID-19 situation.
At Corona Social Center, we are following the established guidelines to help reduce the risk of exposure to and the spread of COVID-19. by the city of New York, and the specifications set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, particularly the considerations established for community-based organizations.
Evergreen's activities are limited at this time.
ABOUT THE VIRUS THAT CAUSES COVID-19
Combat the spread of COVID-19
The virus that causes COVID-19 spreads primarily through respiratory droplets released when people cough, sneeze, or speak. A person can also become infected with COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their nose, mouth, or possibly their eyes. Consequently, personal prevention measures(as stay home if they are sick, social distancing, wear a mask ,handwashing) and environmental prevention practices (such as cleaning and disinfection) are important ways to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
